TOP SIX ITEMS I TRY TO KEEP ON MY FEET
Volcom Creedlers. I picked these up about two years ago and they are still alive and kicking (pun intended). They are perfect for me because I'm lazy and they require no lacing. Slip in and go.
Vans slip-ons. Actually, if you want to get technical, they're knock-offs. My friend got these for me from some Thai street vendor in Chiang Mai three years ago for seven dollars. Do I have to say anything more about why they are in my top three?
I live for Soft Moc. Sure, I might look like a homeless hipster but at least my feet will be comfortable.

1) S. Carter Reebok Collection - Black, White and Red Hi-tops
These are the best pair of shoes that I have ever owned. Of the three pairs of S. Carter Collection shoes I have owned I like these the best. The shoes are functional and wear like they are a pair of classics while at the same time are fashionable. You also have to love the fact that this line marked Jay-Z as the first non-athlete to ever get their own shoe. Jay-Z later started designing Roca-Wear shoes and the collection was discontinued. Although Reebok did make the dreaded G-Unit line of shoes they overcome that with every pair of S dot's still in circulation.

Kanye actually worked with shoe designers and came up with the design (ie, these aren't Nike shoes with Kanye's name on them) Although all the designs are super cool the black and green gives that appearance of glowing soles, a concept that sums up Kanye's career (sort of the shoe of his Glow in the Dark Tour). The shoe had pretty a exclusive release and the prices were extremely high. Rappers Jay-Z and Drake have been seen wearing the shoes in concert.

5) Classic Reebok Pumps
The Reebok Pumps in the original colours. Although these shoes are completely useless as basketball shoes they tell the story of a whole decade (the 90's) just by looking at them.

Runner-Ups:
The Nike Marty McFly's - One of the greatest movies and a very cool pair of shoes. Although they did make a limited release set of the McFly's they still fall a bit short of the list
L.A. Gears - These shoes light up! The problem with them is they do break and then they are just an ugly ass pair of shoes. That and they haven't impressed me since I was like 10 years old.
Jumping Shoes - I remember seeing these shoes in a magazine in grade 3 and thinking they were really sweet. I'll let you be the judge of their coolness.
